What’s the Purpose of a Sump Pump?
In recent months, many of our clients have taken advantage of the City of Toronto’s basement floodproofing subsidy. In the last 10 years, the municipality has invested $37 million toward floodproofing more than 22,000 properties through the Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program, which covers 80% of three specific flood prevention devices, including sump pump installation.
